Warning about the importation

In Adwords there is currently no backup function of the existing campaigns.  The only way is to use Adwords "Reports".  Thus, only the active keywords and the keywords having generated impression at the date of the report can be imported. The inactive keywords and Ad groups or keywords and Ad groups without any impressions are not included in the Adwords report and cannot be imported in Global Keywords Manager.

To create a report in Adwords:

1.  Connect to your Google Adwords Account.

2.  Click on "Reports". Create reports

3.  In the following tabs choose the indicated options

a.         Report Type:  Text ad Performance

b          View:  Daily

C         Date range: yesterday

d          Campaigns and Ad Groups ----> All campaigns and all their ad groups

e          Goto: Add or Remove Columns then activate the boxes by selecting following:

                        I. Impressions

                       II.  Average CPC

                       III. Campaign

                       iv.  Ad group

                         v.  Headline

                        VI.  Display URL

                        VI.  Keyword

                        vii.  Clicks

                        Viii  Description line 1

                        Ix.   Avg pos. 

                        x.   Description line 2.

                        XI. Destination URL

6.  Execute the report

7.  Save the report

Return to Global Keywords Manager.  In the campaigns panel, click on"import a campaign" button (on the right of "add a campaign". Select the generated report and click on open.  Global Keywords Manager imports your campaign.
