GKM advantages when you are looking for keywords.
The "Generator" panel will become your best friend. Scanning for Keywords is the very first step of your work. When your visitors are searching for these same keywords, your ads are displayed. So the more keywords you can work with, the more chances you have to reach your future customers. Hundreds, thousands of keywords only wait to be exploited! This is true for which ever topic you take.
To collect keywords, we generally use "keywords suggestion tools" like Overture, Miva and of course the integrated tool within Adwords. These 3 tools are the most appreciated tools by professionals. The advantage of using different suggestion tools is to gather more keywords as no tool provides you with all of them.
However, if you use the different tools separately, you get many lists. These lists are difficult to work with: you need to copy and paste, sort etc... We do not even mention the removal of extra "blanks", empty lines, extra information (number of searches) etc... Creating a good list becomes very very fastidious.
Another problem is the duplication of keywords. In fact when you use different tools, you will get several times the same keywords. To remove them by hand is a hassle.
