Global Keywords Manager gives you 2 different ways to work with the Adwords Targeting Options.

 

You can associate one or more targeting options to a list of keywords in an Ad Group by clicking the corresponding box in the "automatic filtering option".

The selected options will be automatically added to your list of keyword in a text file or an xml file when you insert your Ad group in Adwords.

 

You must define the targeting option when you integrate your campaign in Adwords.  (see “Adwords panel”)

 

You have this list of keywords in an Ad Group :

keyword 1
keyword 2
keyword 3

 

In the "Automatic targeting Options select following options when integrating in Adwords.
 

  
 
GKM will place the following list of keywords in Adwords:
keyword 1
[keyword 1]
keyword 2
[keyword 2]
keyword 3
[keyword 3]

So the automated targeted options allows you to manage your list fast and precisely.

 

If you use it with Express Group Creator, you will save a maximum of time. Express Group Creator will create a maximum of highly targeted Ad Groups and the automated targeting options will associate the most pertinent options: “ “ or [ ].

 

 

If you wish to associate targeting options with certain keywords and not with others, do it in the “keywords block”.

• Select in the “keywords block" the keywords for which you wish to apply targeting options.

• Use the scrolling menu by clicking on “ ”.

• Select the targeting options you want to use.  
   
    - If you selected several keywords the change will apply to all the selected keywords.

    - If a targeted option was already applied to one or several keywords it will be replaced by the new one.
 
IMPORTANT :

If you use the manual targeting options, do not select any options in the "automated targeting options" bloc when you integrate in Adwords. Otherwise the Magic Wizard will apply the automated options.
