Backup / Restore
Global Keywords Manager is equipped with a backup/restore function of your campaigns database.
By clicking on "Backup" you can generate a full backup for the whole database. GKM saves this backup and give it a date by default. By clicking on “Restore”, you can choose a previously saved file.
Use of the Backup / Restore
• Come back to a previous version of your work in GKM.
• Exchange your database with another Global keyword Manager user. You can also share your campaigns by using the function “Export to xml” format. This xml file is small and easily imported by another GKM user thanks to the “Import” function. You can also exchange or sell a campaign by exporting in the .txt format
• Anticipate important changes in a campaign. E.g.: if you generated a huge list of keywords in the "generator" panel before using Express Group Creator make a complete backup of the database. If the result is not satisfying you might come back to a previous version. |
